Whomsoever Allah guides, no one can misguide him; and whomsoever He leads astray, none can guide him. Ash Shukr means "thanks only", done with all three faculties (heart, tongue & actions). It is the command of Allah.
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ )
Therefore remember Me. I will remember you, and be grateful to Me and never be ungrateful to Me. (2:152)
